This font was an initial sketch presented for a custom font job. Chank also presented the client with a more conservative Roman type, now a free font called Schwing Shift. The client requested a combination of the two styles, and thus emerged Swingdancer, the Font of the Month for June 2003.
Derived from The Hunt Brothers "Lettering of Today" book, Schwinger reflects a distinctive brush script style of the 1930s. Over the years, this style has retained popularity through sign painters and car manufacturers. Schwinger is sure to add zip and fashion to your designs. Enjoy this font and use it
